Pops in the park
August 1, 2009 5:30pm - 8:30pm

The Trillium Gift Shop will be open and the majesty of the Garden beckons you to stroll its paths. 

Please join us for 'Pops in the Park' on Saturday, August 1 from 5:30 to 8:30.  Free treats for the kids. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and a blanket to spread on the lawn near the Visitor Center. Admission is free; donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated. No alcoholic beverages and no pets, please. 


Annual Meeting

August 4, 2009  7:00pm
Location: 12700 SE 32nd St, Bellevue, NOT at the Garden

Coffee, dessert, book sales and book signing following the meeting.

Reservations required.

Meeting location is in the Factoria area of Bellevue, just off Richards road near I-90.

DIRECTIONS to 12700 SE 32nd St, Bellevue:
From 405 southbound take exit #12, turn left onto SE 8th, right onto Lake Hills Connector, right onto Richards Rd., and right onto SE 32nd St.

From 405 Northbound take exit #10, turn right onto coal Creek Parkway, left onto Newport Way/Factoria blvd. Go through the shopping district and under I-90, then turn onto SE 32nd St.

From I-90 Eastbound, take Exit #10B and turn left onto Richards Rd., then left onto SE 32nd St.

From I-90 Westbound, take Exit #11 towards 156th St. and turn left onto Eastgate Way. Continue westbound to Richards Rd. and turn right. Go left immediately onto SE 32nd St.

PARKING: Plenty of additional parking is available in the lot directly below (to the east) of the building.

Garden d'Lights

November 28, 2009 through January 2, 2010, 5pm to 10:00pm, daily . The Garden 'blooms' in the middle of winter with thousands of lights used to create botanical displays More details.


Garden Tours  Each Saturday and Sunday, April through October a tour begins at the visitor center at 2:00pm.  Also, you can arrange a free guided tour of the Bellevue Botanical Garden for your group.   
Wonderful for any group and a great way to entertain out-of-town guests. For more information please see Tour Information.


Hands-on classes are offered in the spring and then again in the fall for anyone who wants to learn how to create lights the “Bellevue Botanical Garden” way.  Every class participant will make a flower to be used as part of our new display in December.  In addition to classes, work parties are scheduled through out the year.

Garden d'Lights CLASSES

Lights and supplies will be available for purchase at the end of class so you can make a spectacular display for your own home.  Lights and supplies may also be purchased at work parties.

Class size is limited with priority enrollment given to Bellevue Botanical Garden Society members.  After you have attended a class, you are welcome to join the work parties.  Reservations are not required for work parties.  More Information


Mother's day social
May 10, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Enjoy a stroll in the Garden and a light refreshment compliments of the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society. Free to the public. Donations are encouraged. Thanks!
