November 28
will mark the grand opening of this year’s Garden d’Lights
presentation. Thousands of volunteer hours have gone into another
fantastic light show – many, many thanks to all of you who have helped
and are still helping!
Highlighting this year’s display will be a new creation of the
Poinsettia tree done in LED lights, a new purple clematis arbor, a
larger pond display, and a surprise addition to the Aquarium in Lights
in the Visitor’s Center. The Tropical Garden will move to the Rhody
Glen, and a new Grape Arbor will be featured in the Rose Garden area.
Charlotte, Willie, and the frog will also be hiding among the flowers,
along with butterflies, dragonflies, swans, peacocks, and the
alligator. We will once again have maps to help you find all of the
creations. There will be a new Information Booth at the entrance where
maps and light information will be handed out. The
Critter Map is also available for download
here.

Due to the
large crowds, police officers will again be there during the display to
help reduce traffic congestion and improve safety on Main Street.
Directional arrows and big lights will also help groups find their way
in, and Garden staff members will also be on sight. The cost for these
and other expenses need to be met by your donation. Your donations are
critical to make this event possible!
Suggested
donations are $1 per person and $5 per family.
This year, when you donate, you can choose to get tickets to enter our
nightly and weekly drawings, or our grand prize drawings.
