Dryopteris filix-mas ‘Grandiceps Wills’

This is a soft, thin-textured fern with a uniquely frilly appearance.
It can be quite sun-tolerant, and when established, is a robust, strong grower.
This species has been found growing wild in central England.
This plant received the 1997 Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit
