Nassella tenuissima

Extra notes and interesting information:
Nassella tenuissima is still sold under the name Stipa tenuissima.
Moves at the slightest breath of wind and is among the finest textured and most billowy looking of all ornamental grasses. Exceptional plant for erosion control on sunny slopes.
Politely reseeds itself; to prevent any offspring, cut back seed heads before they ripen.

Conditions: Light, well-drained, fertile soil; very drought tolerant
