Acer griseum is
absolutely a great choice as a specimen tree. The
stunning, cinnamon brown to reddish brown colored bark
peels much like a birch tree, providing year-round
interest. The leaves, which are bluish green in spring
and summer, turn bronze, russet reds and red in autumn.
To extend fall color in the garden, use this maple as it
is one of the last to color up in fall.
