VISITOR INFORMATION

The Bellevue Botanical Garden, Bellevue, Washington comprises 53 acres of display gardens, woodlands, meadows and wetlands.

Highlights include the Northwest Perennial Alliance Border, Waterwise Garden, Yao Garden, Alpine Rock Garden and summer displays of dahlias and fuchsias.
Throughout the year natural and manmade vistas of color and greenery change, delighting the eye regardless of the season or weather.

Guided Tours
  Each Saturday and Sunday, April through October a tour begins at the visitor center at 2pm.  Also, you can arrange a free guided tour of the Bellevue Botanical Garden for your group.   Wonderful for any group and a great way to entertain out-of-town guests. Admission to the Garden is free. Hours: Open daily, including holidays, from dawn to dusk and from dawn to 9:30 pm during Garden d'Lights.  Visitor Center is open daily 9am to 4pm and from 9am to 9:30pm during Garden d'Lights.

Accessibility The Bellevue Botanical Garden provides a drop-off zone, reserved handicapped parking stalls, a ramp with railings to our Entry Plaza, and accessible restrooms in our Visitor Center. The Garden’s Main Loop Trail is approximately 1/4 mile long, with crushed gravel surface and some moderately steep sections (up to 8%). We suggest that visitors in wheelchairs who wish to navigate the entire Main Loop Trail begin their visit by heading north from the Visitor Center.

The garden is owned and maintained by the City of Bellevue's Parks and Community Services Department in conjunction with the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society and our Garden Partners.


Through fundraising and volunteer efforts, the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society aids the city in realizing the purpose of the garden: to develop, maintain and display plant collections for the purposes of horticultural demonstration, education, and recreation.
